DESCRIPTION |
Tuileries Palace once stood on this ground, until in 1871, twelve men following the orders of a commune extremist movement destroyed it thought fire (it also destroyed part of the Louvre). The space was used to create the Jardin des Tuileries (Tuileries Garden). It stands next to the Louvre, with a few up the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triumph. |
