| The French 'hall of justice'. Marie Anoinette was imprisoned within the grounds of the Conciergerie before execution. The Holy Chapel (La Sainte-Chapelle) is a gothic construction in the heart of Paris, and it's construction was completed in 1248. It has been a historic monument since 1862. |
